Completing the Session

The Final Step

By this point, you've learned the two foundations within the SolaraGem system: the Triple Crown and Spleen Support. You may be wondering when we finally begin addressing the specific area of concern. The answer may surprise you.

You already have.

One of the easiest assumptions to make is that the Triple Crown and Spleen Support are simply preparation for the "real" work. Within the SolaraGem system, we see it differently.

These two foundations are the heart of the process. By supporting the client's overall state first, you've already accomplished much of what we consider the most important part of a typical session.

The local application isn't where the session begins. It's where the session is completed. That distinction is one of the defining characteristics of Statecrafting.

Rather than beginning with the symptom, we begin with the person. Rather than beginning with the part, we begin with the whole person. Only then do we provide additional support to the local area.

Healing Is Not Fixing

This way of thinking can feel unfamiliar because most of us have been deeply conditioned to approach health transactionally. We naturally look for the broken part, the diagnosis, the treatment, and the fix.

That way of thinking is so familiar that we often don't notice we're doing it. Within the SolaraGem system, we intentionally use different language because language shapes the way we think.

Healing is not fixing. Healing is more you.

"Fixing" belongs to a mechanistic way of seeing the world. It assumes that people are machines made of parts that occasionally break and need repair.

Healing is something entirely different. It's a process of becoming more present, more aware, more adaptable, and more fully yourself.

That's why we start with state. The Triple Crown and Spleen Support aren't just preparing you for the "real" treatment. They are already supporting the client in the way we believe matters most. The local application simply extends that foundation.

Awareness Comes Before Choice

Earlier, we talked about how receiving a diagnosis can provide something valuable. A diagnosis often gives people a greater sense of direction, possibility, and hope. That sense of orientation can be deeply comforting.

But it's easy to mistake the feeling of progress for actual progress.

Our minds naturally assume that the more specific something becomes, the more effective it must be.

"If I can simply find the right SolaraGem for this symptom, now I'm making progress."

We've learned to think differently. We begin with what remains true regardless of the diagnosis.

Start with state.

Support the foundations.

Then support the local area.

You'll probably notice yourself slipping back into transactional thinking from time to time. We all do. Simply noticing that pattern is part of learning the craft.

Awareness comes before choice.

Until we recognize a pattern, it quietly runs on its own. Once we become aware of it, we have something we didn't have before: the freedom to choose a different way.

That applies not only to the people receiving a SolaraGem session, but also to those of us giving one.

As practitioners—and as human beings—we all have habits of thinking that quietly shape what we see. Learning to recognize those habits is part of becoming more fully ourselves.

That's another way of saying: Healing is more you.

Color

Once the foundations have been completed, the final step is usually to support the local area. The Core Seven SolaraGems make this surprisingly straightforward.

Each SolaraGem combines a specific crystal formulation with a therapeutic color.

As a simple way to begin thinking about them, imagine the colors arranged along a spectrum from warming to cooling.

Warmer → Cooler

Ruby → Carnelian → Citrine → Emerald → Aquamarine → Rose Quartz → Amethyst

 (Red   →    Orange   →    Yellow  →   Green   →   Turquoise →    Magenta    →    Scarlet)

As a general guideline:

  • Warmer colors for areas that feel cold, sluggish, or lacking vitality.
  • Cooler colors for areas that feel hot, irritated, inflamed, or overactive.

As a general guideline, cooler colors are generally for the upper body, while the warmer colors are commonly used for the lower body.

These are not rigid rules. They're simply reliable places to begin.

Rhythm

Each SolaraGem also operates at one of two pulse frequencies. Rather than thinking about the numbers themselves, think about rhythm.

A slow lullaby naturally settles a child toward sleep. A faster rhythm naturally encourages movement and activity. The same principle applies here.

1.5 Hz provides a slower, more settling rhythm.

10 Hz provides a more stimulating rhythm.

As a general guideline, slower rhythms are often preferred for the upper body, while the more stimulating rhythm is commonly used for the lower body.

Like color, these aren't rigid rules. They're simply part of creating the overall environment that best supports the client.

Bringing Them Together

Rather than memorizing fourteen different combinations, notice the pattern:

Slower rhythms with cooler colors. Faster rhythms with warmer colors.

1.5 Hz:   Green →  Turquoise   →   Magenta   →    Scarlet

               (Emerald→Aquamarine→Rose Quartz→Amethyst)

10 Hz:    Red  →   Orange  →   Yellow

                 (Ruby → Carnelian → Citrine)

There are certainly exceptions. But once you grasp the simple logic behind the overall system, everything will be easier in the future.

Keep It Simple

At this point, hopefully it's clear why you don't need to memorize dozens of applications.

You've already learned the most important part of the system.

Begin with the Triple Crown.

Follow with Spleen Support.

Then choose a local placement using the general principles of warming or cooling, and settling or stimulating.

Observe.

Learn.

Repeat.

The less mental energy you spend trying to remember everything, the more attention you can give to the person in front of you.

The less you worry about getting everything exactly right, the more present you become.

The more present you are, the more naturally your craft develops.

So take it slow. Take it in. Let it come in its own time.

The Field Guide will always be there to remind you where to place the lights.

Your experience will gradually reveal when and why different applications become useful.

But never lose sight of the foundation.

Within the SolaraGem system, the practitioner's own presence is not incidental to the session.

As you become more present, more observant, and more fully yourself, you're better able to create the kind of environment that invites another person to become more fully themselves.

But healing isn't something one person does to another. It's something in which both people participate.

That's why we say:

Healing is not fixing.

Healing is more you.
