Meditative by Moira Lo Bianco
Meditative is a collection of original compositions for piano and sound therapy instruments, inspired by Moira's work in clinical environments and public health initiatives that integrate the healing and performing arts. The album features forty acoustic instruments, including Himalayan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and the piano.
Designed to support mindfulness, relaxation, and therapeutic settings, Meditative serves as a companion for meditation, healing practices, and stress reduction. The sound sequences are thoughtfully composed to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system—the branch responsible for activating the body's “rest and digest” state—helping listeners shift toward a state of calm and physiological regulation.
